Fundraising CalendarAll throughout the year Childhood Eye Cancer Trust members, friends and families take part in exciting events all across the UK. Organising events "in aid of" the charity is a fantastic way to volunteer. Organising skills, finance and communication are all put the the test when taking on such a challenge.

To give you some idea of the variety of fundraising events we are invovled in, take a look at this by no means exhaustive list:
Charity football match, Curry night, Fashion shows, Golf competitions, Disco, School concerts, Beer walk, Spinathon, Charity auctions, Rock concerts and a Big Blue Ball!
Autumn Events
What: Gala Shoot
Where: Leistershire
When: 3rd & 4th September
Building on last years success, this 3 day event is run by Finesse Hotels and the Gala Shoot management committee. Including a Gala Dinner, Clay Shoot and Hog Roast special this event promises to be fun for all parties involved.
Winter Events
What: Christmas Day Sea Swim - date to be announced
Where: County Donegal
When: December 25th
Roisin Lynch and her son David organise this Annual fundraising challenge. Braving the cold sea (without wetsuits!) they take part year on year regardless of the weather. The swim is held off the Lough Swilly Coast.
