Research sub-committee

The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust retinoblastoma research sub-committee currently meets every six months (usually May & November) on a weekday evening at either St Bartholomews or Moorfields Eye Hospital.

The committee consists of several medical professionals who are closely involved in cancer treatment/care and genetics, and two representatives of the CHECT's board of trustees, with the chief executive of the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust in attendance.

At the meetings they will usually discuss any developments in current research projects, any research funding requests which have been made and plans for future research into the treatment and genetics of retinoblastoma.
