Grants for equipment
If your child's vision has been severely impaired as a result of retinoblastoma they may be eligible for a grant to buy special sensory toys and equipment to help them throughout their education.

National Blind Children's Society

NBCS - The National Blind Children's Society, which offers support to children with any kind of visual impairment, can help parents identify the most suitable equipment needed to help your child reach their full potential academically. www.nbcs.org.uk
Family Fund

The Family Fund is an independent charity working to help families caring for disabled or seriously ill children under the age of 16 at home. They can provide grants and information related to the care of the child and are able to help families with a gross annual income of £28,000 or less. Grants must be related to the care of the child, e.g. clothing, bedding, appliances, educational equipment, holidays and outings.
