See Red poster for medical professionals
A simple red reflex test can help you to determine whether a child needs to be referred for specialist examination.
The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust's See Red poster has been designed to inform any health professional on how to correctly perform a red reflex examination. It has been recognised by many health practitioner educators as a tool to use to teach this examination. It has also been recreated, with permission, throughout the world. Our awareness campaign
The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust campaigns to raise awareness of the signs of retinoblastoma (Rb) with the general public and medical professionals. The awareness posters and leaflets show the signs which may be spotted by anyone. It urges someone who has spotted a sign to get it checked out immediately. If retinoblastoma (Rb) is diagnosed early, treatment may be less severe and sight may be saved. We welcome any assistance professionals can offer in helping CHECT to raise awareness.
