Eye cancer families making the news

Families affected by retinoblastoma hit the headlines all over the UK throughout the festive season with amazing awareness-raising efforts hitting headlines in local and national newspapers as well as TV coverage.

Well done everyone involved - it is not always easy to tell your story in such a public way but it really is a worthwhile effort with regards to raising awareness. In the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust survey last year on the Mumsnet site, the majority of parents who were aware of retinoblastoma had heard about it in the media.
